I am not flying in for this. I drive the road between Kiruna and Tromsø with a tent on the roof and a husky in the passenger seat, and I am up here for most of the year — which means I am already nearby in the weeks that actually sell your place: the first snow, the aurora nights, the light at two in the morning in June.
It also means I work in the conditions those weeks come with.
Cold, wind, long distances, no comfort. That is the part of the job I am best at.
Bookings, not footage
A film is worth what it books. The brief is always the same: make somebody scrolling in Hamburg or Oslo decide that yours is the place they stop.
